TEFA quick updates

Parents of a child in Tier 1, waiting for final upload of their IEP into APEX or their UID number from their ISD: If Odyssey has not emailed asking you to upload the IEP, contact Odyssey to request an upload link. This does not guarantee extra funding, but it does ensure that the family remains in Tier 1 prioritization while Odyssey continues to seek official TEA documents.

Has your child received an IEP but you don’t have your child’s UID or the public school hasn’t uploaded the IEP into APEX? Visit txcatholic.org/tefa-sped for guidance on how to contact your school district.

If you are having difficulties communicating with your public school districts regarding evaluations, UID or IEPs, email sped@tea.texas.gov. Remember, your application is not complete unless you have your child’s UID.
