Last week Catholic schools in Texas and across the nation celebrated Catholic Schools Week (CSW) 2017. Representative Drew Springer offered a Texas House Resolution honoring all Catholic Schools in Texas. Cardinal DiNardo was recognized on the Texas House floor and presented with the resolution. All members of the Texas House of Representatives requested that their names be added to the resolution as sign of great respect and honor for the 257 Catholic schools in Texas serving over 75,000 students focusing on Faith, Knowledge and Service. The annual celebration of Catholic school education in the United States began in 1974 highlighting the dedication and commitment of Catholic school educators, and the many gifts our students and families bring to the communities in which they are located. Visit your school's social media or website for more ways CSW 2017 was celebrated.
